We’re close to finishing our survey, and thought it would be a good time to share the video we presented last year to the Northwest Partners in Amphibian and Reptile Conservation (NW PARC). This video explains in depth how we set up the project and what we hope to get out of it.
Since we produced this video, we’ve filled in the maps a lot more and even added a couple additional species. But for the most part it’s still an accurate representation of what we’ve been doing. We also summarize the interesting place that Columbia County holds in Oregon’s ecological and geological landscape. I hope you enjoy it!
If you would like to contribute sightings to the project before we wrap up our data collection, then please contact us so we can tell you how to participate. You can also upload any reptile or amphibian sightings you have directly to iNaturalist.org, and we’ll automatically see them and be able to add them to our records. Thanks for helping out!
