Jones Beach is a large sandbar creating by dredging that is well-known for kite-boarding. It also offers fishing opportunities.

Where: From Clatskanie, drive 6.5 miles west on Highway 30 until you reach Woodson Road (blinking yellow traffic light with a brown sign for Jones Beach). Turn right and go 1.7 miles until River Front Road just before the river. Turn right and follow River Front Road for 0.7 miles until you reach a turnoff on the left to a large paved parking lot on the beach.

Notable Wildlife: Columbia White-tailed Deer, American White Pelicans
