Scappoose Bay Marine Park is a marina that gives boating access to flooded islands in the river, with kayaking/canoeing opportunities, campsites, and a short nature trail.

Where: In Warren (just a mile south of St. Helens) turn east off Highway 30 onto Millard Road, then right onto Old Portland Road. The marina is at 57420 Old Portland Road (45.8529, -122.8148). The nature trail begins there, and boats can be launched from there to explore the Columbia Slough and its islands.
Hiking: There is an 0.7 mile nature trail loop at the marina.
Camping: Bayport RV Park & Campground is adjacent and provides grassy campsites.
Notable Wildlife: Great Blue Heron, waterfowl, sandpipers, Bald Eagle, Osprey, Pileated Woodpecker, Steller’s Jay, Western Painted Turtle
