Goble Creek Falls in January with fish ladder next to it

Height and type: 10-foot cascade falls

Water body: Goble Creek

Access: Waiting to describe pending property status – there was formerly a well-marked trail here that was free to use, but we’re under the impression that the property has been sold and the status of continued use is unclear.

Trip Reports: Youtube video: Goble Creek Waterfall

Property status: Appears to currently be private property with unclear access status.

Notable Wildlife: belted kingfisher, salmon, crayfish

Interesting History: The fish ladder was constructed in 1954-55 for $23,000 at the time. Coho, Chinook, and Chum Salmon were reported to use the creek, but how many fish actually get up through the fish ladder to upstream waters is unknown.
